Teacher teams meet every six weeks to look at different data to group students accordingly. The data utilized includes NWEA MAP and AIMSweb scores. Tier 0 (environmental adjustments) and behavior are also taken into consideration. I will be presenting on how an elementary classroom teacher can use Mileposts. The Lewiston School District uses Mileposts to store assessment data, both school and district-wide. My school uses Mileposts for progress monitoring in general education, special education, and Title 1 programs. We use Mileposts as a tool for RTI, which requires us, as teachers, to input intervention information and progress monitoring results prior to referring a student to the RTI process.
