New features to help navigate learning
A brand new look and feel, including a new interface to navigate content. With the Course Map, students will always know where they are in your course: what they’ve studied, their past performance, and what’s coming next.
Monitor individual and class progress on formative assessments in real-time. Dynamic dashboards for teachers support immediate intervention, integrating powerful features fromExitTicket.org.
Students can use improved analytics to get instant feedback and a breakdown of scores by skill and standard, as well as tools to help you track student progress.
What does this mean for your content and classes?
What about your content? Not to worry—your existing courses, collections, and assessments on Gooru will still be available. Gooru will continue to be free for students and teachers, forever.
Why June? We chose to release these changes at the end of the school year so you could use the summer to transition slowly. If you’re planning to use Gooru heavily this summer, especially your Gooru classes, please let us knowso we can support you.

Looking for Pre-Algebra Intervention? Join Us This Summer
Gooru and Leadership Public Schools, a charter management network based in Oakland, CA, have collaborated develop Navigate Math. Navigate Math is a pre-algebra course and approach developed by teachers to backfill 2nd-7th grade math skills.
Navigate Math’s approach combines direct instruction with self-paced resources, real-time assessments, and features to build growth mindset and peer collaboration.Navigate Math has seen a validated impact of 2.3 grade levels of growth in one year according to NWEA MAP scores.
Leadership Public Schools will hold two three-day summer trainings in July and August 2016 to help teachers and districts implement Navigate Math. See its impact in this short video, or click the button below to learn more.
